How To Make Detox Water

Ingredients

  • 2 litre Filtered Water
  • 1/2 Piece Cucumber, Sliced
  • 1/2 Lemon, Sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger, Sliced Or Crushed
  • Few Sprigs Of Mint

Instructions

  1. Take filtered water and wash all the other ingredients thoroughly.

  2. Thinly slice cucumber and lemon. No need to peel the cucumber.

  3. Put all the ingredients in a large bottle/pitcher.

  4. Fill water, minimum, 6 cups, in the pitcher.

  5. Cover it and leave it overnight, outside or in the refrigerator. By then, water will be infused with the nutrients of these ingredients. If not overnight, then at least for 2 to 3 hours.

  6. Now whenever you drink water from this bottle, refill it with the same quantity of water, meaning thereby that the keep the bottle full. The refilled water mixes with the already infused water.Like this, you can drink this detox water the whole day, without having to wait.

  7. You can use the same ingredients for one full day like this.In the night, just discard all these ingredients, as their nutrients have been fully extracted and absorbed and start with fresh ingredients.

Recipe Notes

  1. Keep rotating the ingredients to derive the full benefits of different ingredients. Like, replace the mint with basil or cilantro or rosemary. Replace lemon with lemongrass or cinnamon, ginger with raw turmeric, cucumber with orange or apple. The list is endless. Also, by doing so, you will have a different flavour every now n then
