Strawberry Mania: Exotic Strawberry Coulis / Sauce
Homemade Strawberry coulis/sauce is just out of the world in taste….. much better than the store bought.
It is not very sugary and has the actual taste of strawberries.
It is sourly sweet.
We use strawberries puree for making this. You can either have it coarse or smooth as per your preference.
In my family, we all prefer it being mushy as in that case you get to have tiny pulpy pieces of strawberries as well.
Strawberry Couli/sauce can be used in so many ways. Drizzle it on ice creams or puddings or custards.
Vanilla ice cream served with strawberry coulis oozes dollops of deliciousness.
You can use it as a topping on cheesecake,
Or as a filling in Black Forest Cake.
You can spread it on bread slice or chapati like jam.
You can make Swiss roll with it.
Or if you are like me then simply you can keep licking it.
